About Us
After living in the city for 17 years, it was like ‘coming home’ when Kaye Maxwell purchased a 20 acre farm in 2000. Set in a very beautiful part of the Franklin countryside, Kaye has since transformed ‘the farm’ into the stunning 9 hole boutique golf retreat that it is today!

"At age 40 I knew it was time for a change. I wanted to help people learn to play; offer people the chance to have fun with golf and forget the rules for a while. I wanted people to feel and hear the countryside while they did so - just as I was able to do while growing up in the Mangatawhiri Valley."
The Clubhouse is the hub of the property offering a warm and friendly environment with indoor training facilities, Pro Shop, cafe/bar, and conference/function facilities.
Kaye’s son Mark (Pictured with Kaye in the Golf Cart on the right) looks after the golf course and machinery and is a very good player and is the current course Champion at 4 under par.
